Dissolving hyaluronic acid filler in the lips
If you are not satisfied with the result of the lip filler application, it is possible to dissolve it. Fillers based on hyaluronic acid can be removed by dissolving them using an enzyme called hyaluronidase, or hylase for short. It is most often used to remove filling in the lips oto to correct them.
The procedure
As with any other procedure, a consultation will take place where the doctor will discuss your wishes with you.
By injecting the hylase enzyme, the applied hyaluronic acid gradually breaks down, thus the condition of the procedure is corrected very effectively. The application is followed by a gentle massage of the lips, their cooling and it's done.
After the procedure
Swelling may occur in the treatment area, which usually disappears within a few hours. It depends on the amount of enzyme applied, the amount of filler that needs to be dissolved and also on the area where the correction is performed.
After application, avoid extreme temperature fluctuations. Solarium, tanning, sauna, going outside in freezing weather is not recommended. Avoid physical exertion as well.
Contraindication
It must not be applied in the presence of cold sores and mouth infections.
