Dermatitis
It is a chronic, inflammatory skin disease. It is characterized by severe itching, dry skin and redness. In some types, it creates unpleasant blisters and the skin can peel off. Dermatitis occurs in different places of the body. The most common type is atopic eczema.
If eczema is not treated, there is a risk of it spreading to a larger area of the skin, worsening symptoms and permanent skin damage.
